Just in case you were under the impression that Transition is a process defined by people who have all the answers, you need to be aware of a key fact. We truly don't know if this will work. Transition is a social experiment on a massive scale. What we are convinced of is this:

• if we wait for the governments, it'll be too little, way too late
• if we act as individuals, it'll be too little
• if we act as communities, it might just be enough, just in time!

Survive 2012!

The Long Count Calendar of the Ancient Mayans ends on Dec 21 2012. There isn't much information regarding what the Mayans thought would occur in 2012, but the consensus of opinion is that there will be great change. To some people this means a positive, spiritual change. Others, like myself, consider that a catastrophic event may have been predicted.

Survive 2012 is a non-fiction book I (Robert Bast) am working on. Progress is currently slow as need to work hard in the corporate world to build the necessary funds for a bunker or two. My thoughts & plans are constantly evolving in line with my continual research.
